After last weekends update none of my users on 7 servers are able to send mail using Pine. The Pine program itself works. When they issue the command to send the mail, the following process is created:

    mail 1789 1.2 0.9 11268 8796 ? S 08:42 0:00 /usr/sbin/sendmail -bs -odb -oem

This process never completes and the mail sits in the mail queue until I kill all sendmail processes. Once the sendmail process is killed the mail goes through.

If I login via SSH as root and su to a users account, I can send mail using Pine with no problems.

If I login via SSH as a user and try to use Pine the mail sits in the queue until I kill the sendmail process.

Any ideas on what's causing this?

My servers are running Cpanel 5.3.0-E24
