    Hi,

I am using a discussion board which sends registrations activation mails which gets bounced mails.
The bounced mails are sent to the system default mail account. I did not set any mail options to the board so it is sending mail as localhost i think and i am not clear about this. So seeing that the bounces are received to the default system mail account then i assume that the board is using the default system mail account to send mails.

    anyway...

I want to pipe default system mail account to a script so that i can manipulate the bounced names and their email ids.

How to pipe the default system mail account to a script.

for example if the default account name is sample and the sitename is sample then what happens is it is automatically assuming as sample@sample.com instead of just sample. because in the Address to Forward list the domain name is shown so we cannot leave that field blank.

hope i have made it clear.
