Piping Mailman to demime or stripmime

    I'm trying to convince my webhost to install demime ( or stripmime ( in order to discard attachments and HTML in my Mailman lists.

    As far as I know all that needs to be done is to install the .pl file in the Mailman directory, and then change the Mailman wrapper pipe entry in /etc/aliases or /etc/valiases file to pipe to the .pl file first.

    However, my webhost is concerned that this may break cpanel and he'd be stuck paying $65/hr to get the server fixed.

    Has anyone done this or something similar to this that would be willing to provide confirmation that cpanel does not get broken?

    Would you please post where you installed the .pl file and give an example of your entry in the aliases file to show how this is done?

    I will use this post as evidence that this is in fact possible.
