Please help: Got error -1 from storage engine

Hi team,

While restoring database we get the following error

ERROR 1030 (HY000) at line 42: Got error -1 from storage engine

This database works fine on the local machine so all data in DB is fine, can somone suggest what might be the issue?

Whether or not it works fine on the server you were restoring it from, what if anything is noted in the MySQL error logs there? You can typically find them at:

/var/lib/mysql/server.hostname.tld.err

You can also find the error log location listed in /etc/my.cnf
