I have a site which is my-web-hosting.com which I have setup in WHM to use for nameservers etc. So all other domains use the nameservers ns1.my-web-hosting.com and ns2-my-web-hosting.com

However, I can't create an account for my-web-hosting.com so that I can have a site there to sell web hosting. I have created other accounts with different domains and they have all been fine but when I try to create an account for my-web-hosting.com I get an error that its already setup and to delete it from the httpd.conf file. How do I do this? Also it says its setup or whatever but it doesn't show up under accounts...anyways, please help!

Do you have any accounts on this server that include the domain name?
Possibly accounts for the nameservers?

Open the httpd.conf file and search for the domain name, see where it's listed.

The server hostname is not the same as the domain? That could be the issue. Other then that check httpd prevously mentioned.

Yeah there is an account for the nameservers for the domain in question...

So how would I got about fixing this? Can I not have my nameservers be for a domain I want to use for a website?

What I am trying to accomplish is I want my domain name for people to come and buy hosting to be www.my-web-hosting.com however I want my nameservers to be ns1.my-web-hositng.com and ns2.my-web-hosting.com Is this not possible? If not what would be the best thing to do? Have a seperate domain name for my nameservers?

Any help would be appreciated!
