I'm now up to Cpanel 9.9.1 and I'm trying to mass import all of my accounts on a Plesk 7 Reloaded server. I'm a new convert to CPanel and I'm here to stay! It was time for me to buy another dedicated server and I would like to move quite a few accounts over from my older server. Eventually I want to move them ALL and have all cpanel servers.

Currently I'm trying to use the copy multiple accounts system. Here's a log of what I see when trying to do the import.

Creating /scripts/... Done
Copying pkgacct-pXa script.....0%.. ..100%.. ...Done
Copying unpkgacct script.....0%.. ..100%.. ...Done
Copying updateuserdomains script.....0%.. ..100%.. ...Done
Copying SafeFile.pm script.....0%.. ..100%.. ...Done
Running updateuserdomains script...

ERROR 1054 at line 1: Unknown column 'login' in 'field list'

got some input

paid for support at cpanel, can't say I am disappointed. They started tweaking it a little and found out that plesk 7's database structure is different. Therefore some copying function doesn't work... they gave me a patch and said they'd be doing more in the next week.... so it seems like if you can get that as well... you can make it work. The migration isn't flawless, but they never seem to be.

The transfer script is updated now. It should be functioning properly now. If not, then please submit a support ticket to my attention.

Make sure your system is up to date before attempting the transfer.

Thanks

ok, just let you know. The copy script is working great. All domains data have been moved smoothly. You just need to re-config scripts on your website if needed.

Glad to hear that it's working smoothly for you.
What scripts do we need to re-configure?
No, you, cPanel guys, dont need to do anything else about this, I think. What I mean is the customer forums, for example. Because the path to home directory in Plesk is different than cPanel, so the customer will need to re-configure

... and this patch is located where?

The rest of us could use a way to get to from Plesk to cPanel or we may be forced to stay with plesk not by any choice of our own.

I think it has been integrated into the updates

I think it just automatically will work with the new upgrades. So if you try to do a transfer account from WHM and have update the cpanel lately it should just work.

cPanel Build 10.0.0-RELEASE 149 stable
CentOS 3.4

the actual error is:

Transfer Error
The remote server didn't report a correct md5sum of the archive. Please ensure you selected the correct type of remote server.
