    :) Hi Guys,
Just wanted to know what to watch out for when transferring accounts from a plesk server to a cPanel server.

Example: will MySQL databases transfer over, does email work ok after the transfer etc.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance :)

Just wondering if you made the switch from Plesk to cPanel ok? I'm thinking of doing this myslef and would also like to know if I should be watching out for certain things.

    Thanks

    Hi Seeyes,

With the new upgrade to Plesk 7 you have to pay additional fees for all their new 'add-ons', which are already included features of Cpanel. I also like to customize and offer my own programs and scripts to my clients. It's a PITA to do this in Plesk. I've heard from many sources that doing this for Cpanel is quite easy.

    psa6

    Hey Guys,

Do you have experience with copying a psa 6 server over to a cpanel one.

Does it copy everything i.e. mail, sql, sites including usernames and passwords?

If anyone has any results and problems etc etc then please let us know as I am considering this at the moment!

    Thanks,

    Matt
