    Hi

I have a dedicated server with plesk 8.3 (several Domains) and I want to move to cpanel. How does this work? Is plesk and cpanel installed at the same time?

As well the server is some hundred kilometers away, how do I install the software on to it?

    Is Plesk Windows or Linux?

cPanel is currently linux only, so there will be an issue moving from windows to linux with only one server.

I'm guessing if its linux it cannot be installed at the same time as they both need to use port 80 and stuff...

To install if it is linux you need to do this through SSH or get KVMoIP for a period of time.

The migration process involves 2 servers: one live cPanel/WHM server and one live Plesk server. The data is migrated from one server to another. At no point are both cPanel/WHM and Plesk on the same server, nor is such a scenario recommended.
