Please provide the tutorial they had on removing it so we can see what they missed in the how-to for uninstalling the plugin.

Thanks,

I get this reply from 1h.

Thank you for contacting us.

Currently we do not have a tool that removed ONLY the 1H Plugin from cPanel for a server with Hive installation on it. Still you can follow these steps in order to remove the 1H cPanel Plugin only:

1. Remove only the plugin itself without dragging any dependencies. To do so run the following command while logged in as root on the server:

rpm -e --nodeps 1h-cPanel-plugin

2. Access the 1H cPanel dynamicui folder:

cd /usr/local/1h/lib/cpanel-plugin/dynamicui/

3. Remove the following files dynamicui_1hsoft.conf, dynamicui_httpstats.conf and dynamicui_cronstats.conf:

rm dynamicui_1hsoft.conf dynamicui_httpstats.conf dynamicui_cronstats.conf

4. Access the directory for your active cPanel theme (for example the default one is x3):

cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/dynamicui

5. Remove the following files from the cPanel theme dynamicui folder:

rm dynamicui_cronstats.conf dynamicui_httpstats.conf dynamicui_1hsoft.conf

6. Rebuild cPanel sprites:

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_sprites

That is all. The 1H cPanel plugin in now uninstalled from your cPanel.

You normally have to unregister the plugin prior to removing the contents. You'll have to reinstall the plugin again and then unregister it first:

Code:
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/unregister_cpanelplugin /fullpathto/pluginname
Where I have /fullpathto/pluginname, this would have the full path to the name of the plugin. If they have helped to install the plugin, they should be able to assist in removing it properly.

Hi,

The procedure kunnusingh mentionned is correct, but, in our case, we had to remove two extra files in order to remove the plugin from the cPanel area (but leave the rest of the monitoring tools in WHM). --they forgot to tell you to delete the dynamicui_diskstats.conf file ;-)

Here is the updated procedure :

1. Remove only the plugin itself without dragging any dependencies. To do so run the following command while logged in as root on the server:

rpm -e --nodeps 1h-cPanel-plugin

2. cd /usr/local/1h/lib/cpanel-plugin/dynamicui/

3. rm dynamicui_1hsoft.conf dynamicui_httpstats.conf dynamicui_cronstats.conf dynamicui_diskstats.conf

4. cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/dynamicui

5. rm dynamicui_cronstats.conf dynamicui_httpstats.conf dynamicui_1hsoft.conf dynamicui_diskstats.conf

6. /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_sprites

Hi guys,

I have submitted bug report about these issues.
We were not aware that we had such issue with them.
But we will fix the uninstall issues of our plugins by the end of next week.

Thank you for sharing that information.
