    Hi,

I just had a hard drive crash on a dedicated hosted server with red hat. The bad drive was mounted as a secondary drive and a fresh drive replaced the bad one. Being a new account I hadn't backed up the accounts yet.

My question is how can I backup a single CPANEL account from a secondary drive so I can restore it to the new primary drive? (I can access the secondary bad drive vis SSH) Is it possible? And if not, what's the best way to get all the necessary files from the secondary drive to the primary drive to restore the account?

    Thanks,

    John

Check your backup folder of your old hard disk. If you lucky enough you may still find your [accountname].gz files. You can restore these files from cpanel to new hard disk.

    Good luck!

I hadn't done any backups...that's the whole problem.
