I have a customer that wants to have their mail sent to a mail service that will "scrub" the mail for spam and viruses and then have the service deliver the mail to cpanel. So normally I would just change the mx to point to the mail service and then they will forward it on to the cpanel server. When I change the mx record to point to the service it gets ignored. Doing a dig mx on other servers shows the mx is still just pointed to the domain name. Any insite on this ?

    Thanks

    Jason

place the MX with "0" priority to point to the mail service that he is refering.

Also remove the entry from the /etc/localdomain or else it will delever all email send by your server locally.
