Point same name server to different IP?

    can i point same nameserver to different ip adress with different servers?
    example

    ns1.example.com 145.255.xxx.xx
    ns1.example.com 178.145.xxx.xx
    ns2.example.com 145.255.xxx.xx
    ns2.example.com 178.145.xxx.xx

    each ip in different data center

    Hi Mr.rooteg,

    No you cannot. A name server must have one unique IP address. If you have four unique IP's create four name servers.

    Hello,

    You can setup name servers across multiple servers, however the use of multiple IP addresses on a single name server at the same time isn't supported. Here's a thread discussing dynamic DNS if that's what you are looking to configure:
