I wanna point all records for a domain to another server.

    Is this correct:

I setup the domain on the "new" server.
I then point the A records to the new server IP.

Will the mail and everything now go to new server ?

Yes, simply edit the given cname or A records and replace the existing ip address with the ip address of your other server / or site IP

As well, I do believe that if you want the other server to handle email, you would edit etc/localdomains and etc/remotedomains as well.
