pointing a subdomain to ip address

    Hello ,

    one of my clients asked me to point

    sub.domain.com TO ip address

    What I have to do to point

    sub.domain.com TO xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ?

    Edit the domain's DNS record, then add..

    sub IN A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

    Of course, this would require that the domain in question is using your nameservers.

    Can this be done now by creating the sub domain in CPanel and &forwarding& it to the IP ?
