dear all
i have cpanel installed on freebsd 5.3 and found something weird
i enable the the pop , then create pop user .. i can do telnet port 110
the problem is ..i never receive email
please give me some enlightment

Start with your EXIM logs (/var/log/exim_mainlog, etc. Just ls -l for a complete list). They should shed some light on whether any mail is trying to be delivered to you.

SSH in to your server. Get root priveleges (su -) (you don't login as root, right?????????????)

cd /var/log

tail -f exim_mainlog

You should be able to see all the port 110 traffic.

It's a start - let us know what you see.
