    Hi,

In my email client (The Bat! 2.0) I can only login to my account without any securities turned on at all.

    For instance:

I can't use any of the following protocols ->
    MD5 &APOP Challenge/Response (RFC-1939)
    MD5 &CRAM-HMAC Challenge/Response (RFC-2095)
Only a regular connection is accepted wich does send your login and pass in cleartext over the net. The connection can't be set to secure either.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Try using the server name as incoming server and check the error log if it still doesn't work. I can now retrieve mail securely with The Bat 2 (I couldn't with 1.62). The incoming server name should match the mail server SSL cert's domain.
