    Hi there,

    I seem to have a problem authenticating with the pop3 server. in the /var/log/maillog it keeps saying:

    server1 pop3d: LOGIN FAILED, user=username@domain.com, ip=[::ffff:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]

    This is happenning on all domains.

    Any suggestions? is pop3d meant to be running or is that cppop?

    check in /etc/xinetd.d and see if you have another pop3d running
