    Hello,

Lately we got the following notification:

pop failed @ Fri Jul 22 15:06:25 2011. A restart was attempted automagically.

    Service Check Method: [tcp connect]

Failure Reason: Timeout while trying to get data from service: Died at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/TailWatch/ChkServd.pm line 457.

    Number of Restart Attempts: 1

I try to increase the MAXDAEMONS setting in courier's pop3 configuration but no help. Please let me know if you have any comments.

    Thank you.

I just received the same error re: IMAP failing -

Possible issue introduced in a new update? I am on the RELEASE tree.

If you suspect a possible issue, please open up a bug report using the link at the top or http://go.cpanel.net/bugs location along with providing login details for the machine in question. Please note that RELEASE has been out for over a week at version 11.30.1.4, so it would be exceedingly strange if an issue happened today for 2 users on the exact same version where it were related to a product defect. Most bugs would occur within a 24 hour period and there haven't been any updates for 11.30.1.4 since July 13.

You can see the release dates at http://httpupdate.cpanel.net location.
