Port 3001 affects MySQL Service

Hi.

I have added port 3001 to TCP_OUT in CSF configuration because I need to connect an external API, but I notice that the change affects the MySQL service and the load up to 4000% in the WHM process manager.

When I remove the port 3001 from the TCP_OUT configuration, everything was back to normal.

Do you know what could cause that problem?
Maybe I need to configure something else, idk.

Hey there! Opening the port itself doesn't change anything with the MySQL configuration as those two services are unrelated. It would be best to watch the load in real-time on the machine with the "top -c" command or the "mysqladmin proc status" command while the issue is happening to see what is using all those resources. It's likely that something is able to use that port once it's opened that is causing additional load on the machine, and that tool doesn't function with the port closed.
