It is possible to create the same port on different IP's on the same server?

    Example:
    Port 6900
    127.0.0.1:6900
    127.0.0.2:6900
    127.0.0.3:6900

    Hi rhullo,

I think it is possible to use the same port on different IP's because port numbers are used for application interaction.

For example httpd service uses port 80 and multiple websites hosted on the same server having Dedicated IP's runs with no problem.

    Hope it may help.
