portsentry logs

    hi

    I dont know how to log portsentry attacks

    I added: local0.* /var/log/portsentry in /etc/syslog.conf

    restarted syslog and portsentry..
    but nothing appeard in /var/log/portsentry directory...

    how to log the attacks?

    AFAIK, portsentry doesn't use syslog. The logs are stored in /var/portsentry/*

    Having said that, I'd strongly recommend using an SPI in/outgoing port filtering firewall instead, it's a much better solution to using portsentry.
