Can I use Portsentry to block w00tw00t port scans? Logical? Possible?

Of course w00tw00t being a portscanner, you can't put up any mod_security rules to block this.

I keep hearing that if APF or CSF (we use Chirpy's great CSF package) is installed, you should disable Portsentry or else there would be conflicts. But I don't really seen anything in the CSF configs that you can switch on to repel port scans. Am I missing something here?
