Recently HTTPD and SSH died. I had no way of restarting the machine via the WHM or SSH and had to have someone manually reboot the machine.

I have not a clue what happened. Is there some type of log for me to look at that would give me some insight.

The server load is very low . . . plenty of storage and ram.

Check Apache's error log, messages log, dmesg if it happens again.

Thank you for the help. What do you mean by dmesg? I am a little ignorant.

dmesg shows you what the machine says as its booting up you just type dmesg at the bash prompt

Look through apache error logs, plus /var/log/messages as well
