    Hi there,

I'd like to password protect a staging website, but using a method that doesn't amend the .htaccess file.

The reason for this is because I deploy changes to the site via Git/Beanstalk, and the .htaccess file is included in this so any password protection code added to it via cPanel will be overridden.

Are there any non-htaccess methods in cPanel/WHM?

    Thanks,

    Stephen
