Hey everyone,

I'm new to this community and CPanel so I'm kinda concerned about this.
I read on other threads that it may mistake legitimate files to be trojans.

Just wondering if anyone can scratch a few off the list for me.

The files are:
  1. /usr/bin/aspell
  2. /usr/bin/prezip-bin
  3. /usr/bin/word-list-compress
  4. /usr/bin/cpan
  5. /usr/bin/instmodsh
  6. /usr/bin/prove
  7. /usr/sbin/pureauth
  8. /etc/cron.daily/logrotate
  9. /usr/sbin/antirelayd

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

The trojan scanner is not really a trojan scanner ...

It's not actually looking for anything in the context of what you might
think of "spyware scanners" like you find on Windows computers. All
the trojan scanner really does on Cpanel is mainly just detects changes
made to system files.

Changes may come naturally if you recently installed software or updated
anything. Most servers automatically make updates as well and you could
look at /var/log/yum.log to see what has been recently update system wise.

It is just basically keeping you aware that something has changed.
