POST error

Upon trying to use a login to a mySQL database, I get an error of the following....

Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /eic.html.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.anuresources.com Port 80

What would be causing this?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
