Hello, everyone, I am new to the forum, The topic I’m about to ask help for seems to be covered extensively But does not seem to cover my individual circumstances any help or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
To give you an insight into my level of understanding of WHM and C panel is this.
I have been using cPanel for over four years with Hostgator after I find my prices kept shooting up every year with Hostgator I decided to look into hosting my website myself feeling very comfortable with cPanel I decided to investigate more I ended up buying a license it’s slightly overkill for what I need but it’s something I feel extremely comfortable with using, however on the other side WHM is a complete learning curve for me right now.
So far I have got everything set up secured and working as it would with any web host all thanks to WHM and Cpanel being extremely user-friendly, however, this is the problem I am now facing and cannot find a fix.
I have a server that has runs a call answering software that you log in to and when you log in it pops the screen when receiving a call via VoIP, then it lets you send emails through a back system that uses postfix with standard SMTP login details.
I have entered the SMTP details to the postfix files for the Host that are required to work, however for some reason my server is spotting my sub domain (sub.domain.net)For security purposes I cannot list the domain.
Inside the postfix files, this is what the setup looks like to give you an idea
(not real details example only)
Relay hostname.Domain.net
Email address:password
But for some reason, I am getting this bounceback and I don’t know how to fix it, if can somebody please help I have read all of the articles within the forum and searched online but I can’t find a secure way to fix this and I don’t want to switch off the relay safety settings below is a copy of the message being sent back to me hope someone can help.
