    Hello everyone,

I've got a server that is running CP/WHM 11 and got a couple quick questions.

I've been doing searches on this subject, not much has come up. The server is mainly a LAMP server at the moment.. but I was thinking of running both MySQL and PostGres as there are a couple of applications that I'd like some of the features of PostGres for.

My question is if I install Postgres, it won't futz up cpanel/whm or any of the existing MySQL settings and setup will it?

I know that alot of what's in PG is in MySQL 5, however due to some incompatibilities with software I've not had the chance to upgrade to mysql 5 yet.

Anyway.. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Dave

You can enable both without a problem. I run many servers with clients that use both.

Thats all I needed.. I just didn't want to screw up cpanel or anything :D

I do know I will need to recompile php with support, and that's not a big deal.

    I appreciate the info
