    I am trying to enable remote postgresql db access.

    I modified /var/lib/pgsql/data/postgresql.conf with:

    tcpip_socket = true
    port = 5432

    I added port 5432 in conf.apf
    (common ingress tcp ports) and restarted APF

    When I try to access it via IP, I got an info that there is no postgresql there

    Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: could not connect to server:
    Connection refused

    Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: could not connect to server:
    Connection refused Is the server running on host "xxx.202.65.178" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

    If a customer had an access to shell, could he connect to this postgresql with a command line:
    psql netlider _netlider -h 127.0.0.1 -U netlider_lider or in different way?

    Thank you for your help

    This is the script also

    <?php

    ini_set('display_errors',1);
    error_reporting(E_ALL);

    $conn_string = "host=localhost port=5432 dbname=netlider_netlider user=netlider_lider password=Lider10"; #$conn_string = "dbname=netlider_netlider user=netlider_lider password=Lider10";
    $dbconn4 = pg_connect ($conn_string);

    ?>
