postmaster mail problem..

    i have a problem with postmaster email accounts, i monitore that this kind of mails are genrating from our server and stuck in the queue this increase the server queue, but there is no such account present on that domain .so to stop the postmaster@abc.com or postmaster@xyz.com genrating from the domain please advice..

    I just edit the /etc/valiases/domain.com file for the the domain thats recieving the postmaster spam

    postmaster@domain.com: /dev/null

    you can do it via exim editor but it will turn all postmaster off for all domains

    How i will turn all postmaster off for all domains, by using exim ?

    not sure how your exim.conf is set up but if you have these lines in it you can just coment them out and it will reject

    accept domains = +local_domains
    local_parts = postmaster:abuse]

    Ya, I have comment the line in exim which u told. Let have a watch that it’s working or not !!!
