I'm installing cpanel to some very sparce centOS 4.4 images. By sparce, I mean very little is included on the image , a typical jailtime.org special.
Everything but perl is handled just fine by the c-panel installer. Its unable to build any modules.
Prior to installing I just did a yum install perl and figured cpanel would cpan in the rest of what was needed.. I also made sure make/automake were present.
Am I missing something? Nothing depending on perl is working, but everything else installed and compiled just fine.
Are there any packages I could install prior to installing cpanel to help things along a little? This is the first time I've seen it fail. Usually cpanel just installs everything past just 'perl'.
