Preferred Method of Changing SSLSessionCache SHMCB cache size

There is an apache config variable called SSLSessionCache:

mod_ssl - Apache HTTP Server Version 2.4

httpd.apache.org

The typical format is: shmcb:/path/to/datafile[(size)]

I run a very high-traffic server (~1000 page views / second) and I believe that increasing the SHMCB cache size up from the default of 1mb will result in a performance benefit because the "total (pre-expiry) entries scrolled out of the cache" value in Apache status is very high.

What is the preferred method of changing this value in the WHM way of doing things?

In order to modify this you'd actually not be able to do it through the WHM UI, you'd need to go to /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/ and add an ea4_main.local template (should it not already exist). Thanks, that did the trick. How often does the ea4_mail.local template need to be updated?

It's only updated when you update it, it's only necessary should you need to make modifications.

What about when cPanel updates, does it ever make changes to the ea4_mail.default?
