Hi,

I am have VPS with modules anti ddos installed: mod_evasive, mod_qos, CSF, dosdeflate. I tried ddos to my VPS and result my VPS is down.

How can i anti or prevent ddos by that? (anti Proxy or Socks 5)

If client use real proxy access to my VPS, it not anti or prevent.
If client use proxy or socks 4 - 5 to ddos my VPS, can deny it?

Regards,

Hello :)

DDOS attacks are better mitigated by your data center with a hardware firewall if possible.

Thank you.

Hi,

I would like to recommend DDoS mitigation services.
These companies are professional and are good at dealing with DDoS: Limestone Networks (excellent but your server must be with them), Staminus, Voxility (very good), CNServers(easy to boot), Blacklotus(powerful slowloris can down them), AWKNet (horrible support).
I do not recommend Cloudflare as there's a possibility to exploiting anycast networks to obtain your real IP address.
DDoS mitigation services don't come cheap though but Limestone Networks seem to offer the most affordable one.

Datacenters might just nullroute your IP when faced with a large volume of attacks.

Yes, another option I think you can use is DDoS prevention services. And this will be a better option for VPS servers.

You can check below URL for same :
