How do you prevent the changes made in /etc/cpanel_exim_system_filter from being overwritten by a cpanel force update?

Edit /etc/cpanel_exim_system_filter as required and save as with new name e.g cpanel_exim_system_filter_new then update new name in exim configuration.

You can set an attribute to the file once you are done with the changes

cPanel won't be able to overwrite the changes. If you want to edit it again, remove the attribute, make the changes and set the attribute again
