Prevent https pages from being indexed

Hi
we recently brought ssl certificate but have not implemented it on any of our pages.
Now our site xyz.com opens even if user types
Code: 
https:// xyz.com
and google has indexed some pages with https in the beginning how do I prevent google from doing so, should disallow:https from robots.txt or should I htaccess redirect them to http pages. or I can rectify it via httpd.conf

Please guide me.
