I developed a web site with MS Frontpage and used a templae to make my Guestbook.

But my guestbook is full with unwanted links etc.

How can I prevent that? So only serieus people make a comment in my guestbook?

This worked for one of my clients

password protect the file inside the cgi-bin

    also

My client has tons of guestbooks the old cgi scripts

DO NOT name any of the files guestbook

After looking into her files names the only ones that got spamed are the ones with guestbook in the name.

so name your file something like sig.pl inside your cgi-bin

If you do that you prob wont even have any spam
