Primary Domain Change

Hi — I just inherited a web server running cPanel 11, and I'm trying to help with a migration. I have a redirect successfully in place that I would like to swap in as the primary domain, in preparation to move the primary domain to a different host.

I can't find any documentation on how to switch the primary domain back in v11 (Modify Account doesn't appear to exist). Does anyone have a suggestion on how/where I would make this change?

Hello Tom,

Do you have root access to Web Host Manager on the server you are attempting to modify the account's domain name on, or do you have reseller access to Web Host Manager? If you have reseller access, then it's likely your reseller hosting provider has not granted your reseller account the ability to use the Modify an Account feature. If that's the case, you'd need to reach out to them to request they perform that action on your behalf.
