Hello,

I recently start using WHM/Cpanel dedicated server in a business.

The fully qualified hostname works. "server.example.com:2087"

my domain name is not working. It gives a "connection refused" error. DNS configuration are done as per the document.

I have setup a cpanel account and it should be working. Does anyone know what I should do now?

In putty am try to access the public_html but not able to access it. In that folder user permission visible as nobody

-Thanks

Hello,

Connection refused generally indicates that there was an issue connecting to the site. This is typically the result of an incorrect firewall configuration. Are you using a firewall software such as iptables?

Can you copy and paste the permissions for the public_html here? Typically the correct permission for that file should be UID: user GID: nobody
