I have a dedicated server running Centos 5.2 and WHM 11.24 - I'm having no end of trouble trying to set up private nameservers for this installation. I have read through a number or on line guides but they never seem to help me completely.

What I'm trying to achieve is (and I might not even need private nameservers for this!) to be able to set up a new user account within WHM and only have to alter the nameservers against the domain name at the registrar. At the moment I have to set the nameservers to those at the data centre and then manually set up various DNS records for mail/ftp/web etc pointing to my server - this is the step I'd like to skip and I'm pretty sure it's all down to private nameservers and/or my config.

So if someone would be willing to help, that would be really cool.

    Kind regards,
