we have encountered the following problem when access phpmyadmin from cpanel, it gave following error message:

    cannot load mysql extension,
    please check PHP Configuration

however it works when accessing from whm. we have tried everything below:

    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/makecpphp

    touch /var/cpanel/usecpphp
    /scripts/makecpphp

we even did what it said here at http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=802

but no luck till now. help greatly appreciated.
