Hi, google apps request me to add a specific cname

    12457895.mydomain.com

So when i go to my Dns zone editor in WHM, i'm adding the record like this

    upload_2018-7-11_18-20-3.png

On hostname i add only 12457895 because the whm add automatically mydomain.com. when i save.

In the empty blank box at the left i add google.com

But when i check the propagation of the cname it not propagates and if i enter to the created cname it does not work.

    What is the error?

    Hi @samuelmf

You may want to check to see if you've got the entire CNAME record. I also believe you may be entering it in backwards. In the first box you should be entering 12457895 and the hostname box you should be entering in the destination so that's where you should add google.com

In the end it should look something like:

    12457895 14400 IN CNAME google.com.

Google's documentation on this may be helpful for you as well:

    Thanks!
