Hi,
While trying to delete a addon domain of my customer I get error message 'Error from park wrapper: Sorry, you do not control the domain cheapfonecall.com '

I ran a script /scripts/updateuserdomains as root user but nothing changed.
Can some one advice.

Try to follow the steps given below. Hope this helps.

1. Remove domain.com from /var/cpanel/users/cpanel-username

3. Run /scripts/updateuserdomains as root user on the server.

2. Remove /var/named/domain.com.db if the file exists (it doesn’t always)

3. Remove the virtualhost for domain.com on /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

4. Remove domain.com from /etc/named.conf

Try to follow the steps given below. Hope this helps.

1. Remove domain.com from /var/cpanel/users/cpanel-username
Do not have a capnel user name for addon domain, it appearing like abc.def.com while def is main domain.

3. Run /scripts/updateuserdomains as root user on the server.
Does not work.

2. Remove /var/named/domain.com.db if the file exists (it doesn’t always)
Does not have the db

3. Remove the virtualhost for domain.com on /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf
Cannot figure out how to do it. Its not appearing as a domain even within cpanel its like a subdomain.

4. Remove domain.com from /etc/named.conf
same as above.

I resolved it by manually deleting the addon domains directory, deleting dns entries using WHM and than I could delete / recreate the addon domain.

complete directions for park wrapper error

Error from park wrapper: domain.com is already configured

On a cPanel server if you get the error: Error from park wrapper: domain.com is already configured while adding an add-on domain under cPanel. Make sure to remove the domain.com entries from:

/var/named/domain.com.db
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
/var/cpanel/users/username remove (dd) related entries to domain,
/etc/userdomains
/etc/localdomains
vim /etc/named.conf remove (dd) related entries to domain
remove dns entry in whm
run /scripts/updateuserdomains
(Renaming or commenting will not help; you will have to remove the entries completely.)

This worked for me.
