Problem on Hostname !

    Hello,

    I have a Problem about Hostnames !!..

    I have 2 Servers.

    1 That i currently have server1.mydomain.tld and a second one i bought some days ago and i am configuring it right now.. but the main problem i have i want to make hostname lik server2.mydomain.tld but when i make it dose not work !!

    What should i do, how should i configure the DNS so wheneevr i go to server2.mydomain.tld i can open it even the mydomain.tld is pointed on the 1st server..

    DataCenter Provider
    You need to make sure the DNS for the second server is valid - meaning, whoever is hosting your DNS needs to have a valid A-record for server2.mydomain.tld

    Well, where i need to do this ? on server1 or server2 ?

    cPanel Access Level:
    Root Administrator
    You can add A record for your second server hostname server2.mydomain.tld from your domain hosted server( where your domain mydomain.tld currently resolving).
