Problem opening SSH tunnel in Fugu; creating MySQL database

Hi,

I'm *very* new to this. I'm trying to install Drupal on my server and am following the recommendations here:

https://help.asmallorange.com/index.php?/Default/Knowledgebase/Article/View/141/9/drupal

Following the instructions, I'm trying to create an SSH tunnel using Fugu

In Fugu, I'm asked for (my entries in italics)
Create Tunnel to: (server1....)
Service or Port: (22)
Local Port: (1024 -- seems to change to this automatically when I enter the other fields)
Tunnel Host: (server1...)
Username: (root)
Port: (22)

When I enter this, Fugu says it's establishing a connection, but nothing happens.

Furthermore, following the instructions in the link above, I'm supposed to create an MySQL database from cPanel. I'm not sure how to do that. I'm starting off in WHM, but I'm not sure how to work myself to cPanel from there, or create the database.

Did I mention that I'm *really* new to this?

Many thanks for your help!

I don't see anything on there mentioning fugu, but there is documentation here if you want it:

You don't need anything like that to do what you want to do.

Before you can create an database for a website, you need an account, before you can create an account, you need a Package, before all of that, there is plenty of Self Help Documentation to get you going in the right direction, located here:
WHM User Guide - cPanel Documentation
cPanel User Guide - cPanel Documentation

Thanks, I'll try setting up a database according to your instructions. I may still have to create an SSH tunnel to get the latest version of Drupal, and put it on my server.

There me be other ways of getting Drupal using Fugu (maybe its SFTP?) that will work better. Or I may try another SFTP client, though I'm using a Mac so my options are more limited.

Thanks!
