The method that @ZenHostingTravis mentions would at least tell us if the servers can communicate outside of the JetBackup system. That would help us isolate where the issue could be, since if the FTP connection isn't working directly on the command line, it's not going to work inside JetBackup.

Let us know the results of that test and we can move forward from there.

Ah, I misread that when I read your first post - sorry about that!

Can you make sure the full path is in use in the configuration? That's typically the main reason this is displayed:

Hello behinam,

I noticed that you are trying to set up an FTP destination to a server with a Windows Operating System. Unfortunately, JetBackup does not fully support FTP to Windows as a valid Backup Destination, including IIS FTP servers, check FTP Destinations for more information. While Jetbackup does work with FileZilla FTP on windows, it is not officially supported. You can find a list of supported destinations on this page: Destinations Overview.

Additionally, JetBackup 4 requires the relative path for FTP/SFTP destinations. You will need to provide the relative path to the directory from the home directory of the user you set. JetBackup will use the user credentials set to access the backup directory. It is recommended to create a dedicated user for backups and not the root user. More information can be found in our documentation at Destination Settings.
