problem with 7.2 and oscommerce addon script

    Seems there is problem with the addon script oscommerce and the new release , get this error

    Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'user_osc1@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/username/public_html/cart1/includes/functions/database.php on line 19
    Unable to connect to database server!

    you can add the addon invision board script to this , what it is, is that no tables are created for the DB or in effect no DB is not created , will this be looked at ? Realising you dont actually support these addons, wondering why this would suddenly happen and if there is a short term fix.

    I had this problem it was because the username had a hyphen in it, this is what Cpanel support say.

    This is a known bug with usernames containing "-" and will
    hopefully be fixed in an upcoming release. Until then,
    avoid usernames containing "-"
