I upgraded to cpanel 11 release on approx Jul 6th) . I now have noticed the following strange problem. (I also updated again last night).

When I go into /usr/local/apache/domlogs

I see the normal apache log files like
/usr/local/apache/domlogs/domain1.com
/usr/local/apache/domlogs/domain2.com
etc -- which are the apache logs for those domains.

HOWEVER, ALSO there are subfolders for each domain containing the exact same files (and they are NOT symlinked -- they are actual duplicates updated in real time!!)

So there is also
/usr/local/apache/domlogs/domain1/domain1.com
/usr/local/apache/domlogs/domain2/domain2.com
etc

Since upgrading to Cpanel 11, I have had strange load spikes up to 30 for a few moments a day (which *never* occurred before). This is creating double the work for my server (which has some logs growing 500MB/day). A long time ago I created a cronjob/script to check that and move them to another folder when they get too large (to prevent the 2gb limit) -- but that script is now broken due to the duplicates. :( And it has essentially been deleting/clearing the log files without copying them because of duplicate entries :( :(

Anyone ever see this problem? Was the domlog storage location changed slightly under cpanel 11 (putting them in subfolders per account within domlogs)? If so, something went wrong with my upgrade and I just found out about it.

FYI I was told by support than CP11 does add hardlinks as I mentioned in my first post. They are not duplicates in the true sense (as two separate files), but it did mess up one of my scripts.
