I recently moved from a differant hosting to hostgator dedi. And I used the automated transfer through WHM. Along with transfering all my blogs through WHM all my e-mail accounts and setting. My problem is all my e-mail accounts are working properly except for one which is giving me this error from my outlook express e-mail account (I used other e-mail clients in windows/linux/OSX they are all giving me some kind of error about password). I didn't have this problem before. I even deleted the e-mail account and created it again without any luck. I can't even log into the e-mail account through WHM with proper password (changed password several time too)

here is the error (changed sitename for privacy):

    Any help is appreciated.

    Check your settings

    Incoming / outgoing mail server: - mail.domain.com
    User: email address
    Password is the password

Then click advanced settings - turn on "My Outgoing server requires authentication"

    If still the error

Start >> CMD >> telnet mail.domain.com 25 do the same for port 110 aswell.

You should get something like this:

    +OK Hello there.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Can you create another email account that wasn't there before and it work OK? Also is this a managed or unmanaged server?

EDIT: Sounds like the same problem a couple others are having. Should have searched first and added to the existing thread.
