I'm having a problem with our clients that have external mail servers.

They cannot receive mail from our domain on the same server.
They can send email to any domain outside our server.
They can send email to our domain on the same server.

Anyone have an idea as to why?

You need to manually remove their domain from /etc/localhosts.

    WHM on a VPS

I'm set up with CPanel and WHM on a VPS (Virtual Private Server). Where would this file be located? I've checked what seem to be the accounts set up for the VPS configuration, but the etc directories are blank.

I've tried the local and remote files over and over with no success. However this is the first time I have seen to run mailperm. When I do I get:

/scripts/mailperm: line 6: require: command not found
/scripts/mailperm: line 8: syntax error near unexpected token `('
    /scripts/mailperm: line 8: `my $mailgid = (getgrnam("mail"))[2];'

    Suggestions?

    Bob
