    Hi,

I created an FTP subaccount with a quota of 5MB. I tried to upload a file even after crossing that limit, and it went through successfully.. So the FTP quota is not working the way it's supposed to be. Can anyone help me sort this issue?

Note: I do have the root password of the server

    Thanks in Advance, :)

I have similar issues. I have one server that I setup a test ftp account on, set a 2 meg quota, deleted the ftp user, and it still lists the quota for the user in cPanel.

On an identical (though apparently not) server I click on the quota option, and no matter what, it keeps stating that no ftp quotas have been set.

Upon clocer look, thanks to this thread, the server that has the cPanel that does not report quots that are set, I do see the .ftpquota file in the correct directory of the account, but again, it seems to ignore this file.

I also do not understand the useage of the file, there are two number sets in there.

Does any one know what the numbers represent, and in what units?

I also came across this thread from along time ago, I wonder if compiling the ftp server from source corrects the problem?
